Japan has maintained or neutral position for decades. I believed that way. Personally, I’m probably off the course of ordinary Japanese in the way I consider foreign policy and politics, U.S. politics. It is often very hard to understand the mindset of the panelists who explain U.S. politics.
Or, it’s nearly impossible to understand what they are saying. It’s not about the Japanese they use. I understand their intentions very well from a distant place, meaning in a different sense. They are different to me but I do understand what they’re explaining. It’s very hard to understand the Japanese gigs and jokes in a so-called “variety shows” with comedians and “funny” stuff… I’m criticizing joking but it’s sometimes very lewd to me. It’s an age that I don’t have to watch TV on TV.
When it comes to Israel, even though the news is neutral nowadays, meaning more informative, I don’t want to hear anything coming our of the Japanese media.
The “Idealization” of North Korea by the Japanese Media
I was thinking of why the Japanese public has no immune to Iranian propaganda. When it comes to propaganda, the Japanese people may think of Russian propaganda. However, what about Iranian propaganda and the propagandists who spew lies and hateful speeches about the West?
After the war to the 50s, the Japanese media idealized “North Korea” as a nation of “paradise” and was promoting how much socialism is a wonderful idealism. As a result, many people were deceived.
Those whose ancestors originated from the region of North Korea “returned” to North Korea. They thought of their homeland as a paradise and also their family and relatives without knowing the reality of North Korea.
The “advertisers” were the “media” themselves, and many people were deceived. It is estimated that approximately 90,000 Korean people went to North Korea from Japan until the 80s.
During this project, North Korea aggressively stole the Japanese people from Japan and those in the Western countries in the 1970s. There is no exact number, but it is said that hundreds of Japanese have been abducted. People were and are suffering from hunger with scarce or no food.
Ms. Eiko Kawasaki, the second generation of North Korean Japanese, fled North Korea in 2003 after all her children were grown up. Mr. Kisei Seki, who was born in 1914 and passed away in 1986, visited North Korea for 25 days in 1957. He realize the lies of the Japanese media, calling North Korea “paradise on earth” and claimed that promoting North Koreans to return to North Korea from Japan is realistically tortures and death for North Koreans in japan to the government.
I would refrain from writing details of the threats both Ms. Eiko Kawasaki and Mr. Keisei Seki faced by a North Korean organization.
Vulnerability against Iranian propaganda about Israel
If people read this title, the majority of the Japanese would think, “It’s about Gaza” or “It’s about Lebanese people.” It’s exactly what the propagandists are aiming at. Far away from the Middle East, Islamic Republic of Iran, the nation, aims hunt the vulnerable Japanese into believing that “Israel is an evil nation that kills innocent people.” It is not even the propagandist that spreads all the lies about Israel. It’s the government officials of Islamic Republic that visits Japan and directly speak to the ignorant Japanese public. Ayatollah’s regime makes the Japanese people believe as if Ayatollah’s regime is compassionate to the “innocent Gazans.”
I wrote about Nikki Haley’s podcast, “Nikki Haley Live” in another blog post. I wrote about Islamic Republic’s evil deeds against ignorant Japanese people who know nothing about the history of the land called Palestine. Most of the people believe that those who have lived or have ancestors are called Palestinians, which is a total misconception when you look at the history of the land called Palestine.

I decided to make a lot of complaints about what is going on in this planet. How come UNRWA operates in Japan? The Palestinian teachers are making curriculums to exercise and sing, “burn Jews, kill Jews.” BBC and the major news, ohh Al Hamas Jazeera, networks loudly scream Israeli police shot “teenage Palestinians.” The major news networks in the West never report “why” the Palestinian teenager was shot in the West Bank, for example.
After listening and watching news about who the teens were on Israeli network including the Jerusalem Post, which the Japanese journalists call, “the extreme-right wing media” countless times for years, how would you feel about the Western media, calling the Palestinian armed terrorists who were teenagers shot by Israeli police? This is morale and it is for the safety of the Israeli people.
Now, going back to “Nikki Haley Live,” the so-called innocent 3,000 civilians participated in the massacre that cannot be disclosed to the public and some can’t even show the deceased body to the families and give funeral. Hersh Goldberg’s mother gave a speech in ICEJ and my friend Rev. Barry Denison spoke with Rachel, Hersh’s mother.
I’ve written about Rev. Barry in other blogs. ICEJ is one of the organizations that got death threats from Hamas and other Islamic terrorists. I speak with Rev. Barry about the hostages in Gaza. However, how do you feel when you see a mother, Naama Levy, I feel very helpless and feel too terrible to speak to them directly. It’s not because they’re strangers but I feel that the pain of the mothers of the girls and also the family members are unbearable. To me, social media plays moderate roles in writing about the victims and the hostages or talking through my friends like Rev. Barry Denison, who are supporting those who are affected by October 7th.
NHK, the public broadcasting company, was telling an interesting story about how Hamas learned to attack Israel. This is not even an act of defense but a terrible inhumane barbaric act that they did to Israeli people on October 7th. I hear the victims’ families cries over the heinous crimes in the U.S. or in Japan. These acts that I hear are times more worse than what is called heinous. Children shot and burned alive?
The protestors for Hamas who occupied the university campus aren’t even sorry for these victims. Rather, they feel that it is the right thing that must have happened. Is this called human rights? Also, as I suspected, approximately 3,000 UNWRA workers glorified October 7th on Telegram according to UN Watch report. Weapons and tunnels were found from UNWRA schools and civilian homes. Where is the “innocent” place in Gaza now?
ICJ, which Japan invests a lot, did rule that six UNWRA workers are responsible for the crimes on October 7th. IT IS NOT ONLY 6 UNWRA WORKERS WHO PARTICIPATED ON OCTOBER 7TH MASSACRE. ICJ DIDN’T EVEN MENTION THE JOURNALISTS WHO WERE ON SITE AND TOOK PICTURES ON OCTOBER 7TH. IS THIS CALLED JUSTICE? ALSO, the ICC prosecutor wants to put PM Netanyahu and Gen. Gallant in a monkey trial.
HAMAS PROTESTS ARE ALLOWED AS A PART OF FREE SPEECH? DO WE RAPE WOMEN ON THE STREETS AND PASS THEM, STAB THEM ON THE BACK? CUT OFF THE BREASTS? IS THAT “JUST A CRIME?” NO FEMALE ORGANIZATION, SUCH AS ME TOO AND OTHERS, DID NOT CONDEMN THE BRUTAL RAPES THAT OCCURRED on OCTOBER 7th.
The Emmys nominated Biswan Osada, a Palestinian terrorist who belonged to PFLP, won Emmys this year as a journalist covering Gaza. People are so vulnerable to what the terrorists writes about and also tells people.

It is unimaginable to people, even though the Emmys was for these were for journalists, does not mind giving awards to the former terrorists. There are dozens of Gazan journalists who are trained and learned how to broadcast Gaza by the terrorist organization Gaza Press Department, which is also Hamas. Is she a person who tells the truths about Gaza or about the world? She needs to lie about herself…
Japanese media often likes to quote, “The prominent Western Media says…” What fact lies in what they say by quoting the U.S. media, and also what fact are there from the journalists who have gone through the tunnels with Hamas?
On the other hand, this is the reality of the victims of October 7th.
I’ve heard a dozen of similar stories and my friends’ families are also killed on October 7th. How do they cope with the pain in their heart even though they never try to tell the public and smile, “I’m OK.”

I’ll go back to the story of UNWRA facilities that were destroyed by IDF “abiding by the international law.”
Also, the urban warfare expert(Chair of Urban Warfare Studies), John Spencer and other generals and war veterans visited Gaza and witnessed the tunnels Hamas dug longer than any metro or subway in the world with UNWRA funds. At the same time, there was Hamas headquarter under UNWRA main office in Gaza.
Some Japanese laugh about Russian propaganda. However, look in the mirror, I would say. They are so ignorant to Iranian propaganda and they believe in “evil Israel’s aggression.” The Hamas supporters, they don’t even know why they’re called that way. Hezbollah killed American people in 1983 in Beirut and the same terrorist organization killed 27 innocent Israeli people in Buenos Aires in 1979.
The media screams around PM Netanyahu as the right-wing aggressor. This is one of the aims of Iranian propaganda. Also, The Sunday Japanese Panelist questioned indirectly about the analysis of Col. John Spencer. I was actually appalled. These Japanese journalists were going through the tunnels with Hamas and were promoting that Hamas were good people. Now, if you hear NHK radio, it’s like Japan is at war. I totally agree with Nikki Haley regarding the fact that Biden administration only talks about Gazan casualty numbers that were counted by Gaza Health Ministry, controlled by Hamas. Hamas is using Al Ajzeera network to advertise IDF operation as aggressive inhumane behavior.
Since October 7th, Israel has to defend herself from the seven fronts. Interestingly, I asked my friend, Gershon Kogen PhD., who specializes in Iranian studies and has had career of economic chief editor as journalist about Iran’s financing. China. In 2015, Export-Import Bank of China “contributed” 850 million dollars in loan for Climate Policy Initiative. In 2016, a Chinese financial institution provided loans to the Islamic Republic 1 billion dollars in loans. China seems “very compassionate” to Gaza. China isn’t a compassionate nation. China is well-known as a loan shark.
Majority of the Japanese people hear the news and think that Israel’s bombings is the problem. The Japanese media never, not even once, tell the public in the everyday news that Hamas has fired rockets 19,000 rockets to Israel. Hezbollah has been attacking and supporting Hamas since October 7th and displaced 80,000 Israeli people who live in the north. The Japanese media never talk about this. It says, “Israel claims” and never inform as confirmed facts by nations or organizations. When Israel conducted exploded pagers which were used by Hezbollah in Lebanon. 4,000 Hezbollah members were seriously injured. The Japanese media quotes, “4,000 people.” That sounds like ordinary people who were injured, not the terrorists. I heard some people what they heard on the news and how they felt. Some were pretty skeptical about the incident and understood the situation when I explained. Some told me that they believed 4,000 people were injured.
I have been thinking of the effects of the Japanese media regarding the reports on the Middle East. I don’t understand the fact that Biden administration unfroze 6 billion dollars of Iranian assets. Iranian people around me were furious at this fact. Japan faces the facts of North Korea. If Japan finances North Korea, the people will not benefit from it at all. It is the same mechanism that Iran won’t use 6 billion dollars for the people who are hungry.
What Iran is doing to Israel is that it uses its proxies to attack Israel from seven fronts and blame Israel for defending herself with Iron Dome and other defensive acts. I realized that Iran’s acts affect Japanese people because of the Japanese media.
This is a scary fact, but it is indeed true. The Japanese media try to condemn Israel and praise the efforts of Hamas and Hezbholla’s efforts to solve the situation diplomatically. This is a blatant lie. Hamas is using hostages to deal with the situation in a way they can benefit.
I was talking with a lawmaker from the Middle East. I started to realize that the scary effects of terrorism, which Japan is so fragile about. I hear Iranian people condemn October 7th with Israeli people and resist the Islamic Republic of Iran. Lebanese writer, Rawan Gabrielle Osman, condemn Hezbollah for ruining the country, Lebanon.
I truly started to see the serious illness that is planted in the Japanese media and the scary side effects…. I started to rethink the effects of propaganda now…
